Doctor Who - The Impossible Astronaut

Yes! It's almost time for Steven Moffat's second season at the helm of Doctor Who, and I for one can't wait! I'm avoiding spoilers like the plague, which isn't easy when Doctor Who Magazine eblazen's 'One of them will die!' on the cover of their latest issue and Radio Times features a highly spoilerific photograph in its episode guide!

The preludes and clips that have been released all look stunning and the location filming in America looks grand, expensive and fun. Matt Smith appears to be on top form as the Doctor and the whole team seem to work together amazingly well. We've still got so many unanswered questions from last year, who are the Silents? Is Rory an Auton or not? Who exactly is River Song? And Amy is still a bit of a mystery too, there's something still not altogether right going on there as far as i'm concerned.

I'm looking forward to the Easter weekend with relish, it is going to be a fun ride. Add to that an episode written by Neil Gaiman (the Doctor's Wife), a pirate story (that could possibly have some links to Hartnell's penultimate 'The Smugglers' and the return of Craig Owens later in the year, and it's shaping up to be a belter of a season. Here's hoping!
