New Start Wars Films Annouced as Lucas Film joins with Disney

So, it looks like we're gonna get Star Wars episodes 7,8&9 after all. I don't really know how I feel about the prospect to be honest. The prequels were dire/average at best, and I don't really see what can be done AFTER the original trilogy. Lucas has gone on record as not being involved in the stories, which is a surprise to say the least, surely he has a sketchy vision of where the story would lead to next (as he did with the prequels). One things for sure, the franchise keeps on rolling on and on. Just in time for a brand new generation of fans to become hooked on the adventures of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo. And if they do turn out dreadful, well us oldies still have the original trilogy to keep us company. Here's hoping they get it right.
